She feels especially proud of her performances in ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’. “Both films are very precious to me. Kurbaan was intense, 3 Idiots was more fun. In 2010 I did films with all the Khans…. Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh (I had a song with him in Billu) and of course Saif.”

As the last section of the year was quite busy for her as it meant running around for the promotion of ‘3 Idiots’, she has taken a break and has flown to Delhi to be with her sister Karisma for New Years.

“I’ve been running around frantically promoting my film. And then I was ailing for a week. I decided I had to be well for the festive season. Christmas was a very special occasion for my mom and sister. But we never get to be together for the occasion. This time I was adamant. I made sure I took time off from work so that all of us girls could spend time together. My mom and I were here in Delhi to spend time with my sister and niece,” she says adding, “Karisma and I don’t get to spend that much time together. She has her home and husband in Delhi. My career takes me all over the place. Mom cribs we’re never together. This year-end reunion was something we had promised ourselves from long before.”

So appreciated was her chemistry with Aamir Khan, that the pair is in talks with two leading filmmakers including Mani Ratnam who is apparently all set to revive his Aamir-Kareena project Lajjo. AR Rahman and Gulzar have even recorded the songs.

And of course, she is also looking forward to ‘Ra 1′. Though she is not saying it yet, the buzz is that she has more or less signed on the dotted line for this Shah Rukh Khan starrer sci-fi super hero film which is being directed by Anubhav Sinha of ‘Dus’ fame.

Shah Rukh Khan And Salman Khan Came Under One Roof For Aamir Khan 26.12.2009

Picture
Some sort of firework was expected at the premiere of ‘3 Idiots’, where the 3 super Khans – Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman – were present. However, the two arch rivals of filmdom, SRK and Sallu, who came under one roof for Aamir, somehow managed to keep their cool and sparks flying around them didn`t cause any major fire.

Nevertheless, reports reveal that the cold vibes between the two superstars were quite evident. Although Salman seemed all geared up to pick up a fight, as he was reportedly looking angrily at King Khan throughout the evening, Aamir made sure he keeps him engaged in something or the other.
Well, considering the way they conducted themselves at the evening, a possibility of SRK-Salman patch up seems least likely. While SRK was invited for the event by producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sallu was personally invited by Aamir himself.

December 25th 2009 When Ash and Vivek sat too close for comfort

Picture
Aishwarya Rai has been having close and uncomfortable encounters with her ex-lovers this month. On December 17, she crossed paths with Salman Khan in a Mumbai studio. Now, she had an uncomfortable seat just too close to ex-lover Vivek Oberoi at a Mumbai police event named ‘Jashn 2010-Dhamaka Bollywood Ka’ held on December 17.

People’s paths often cross in a close knit industry like Bollywood. No harm in that as long as two people aren’t ex lovers no longer on talking terms with each other.

As h had arrived at the event with father-in-law Big B and Vivek was there with designer Manish Malhotra. Unfortunately, the organizers had placed Vivek’s seat very close to Ash in the first row. There was only one seat between the two and to add to the woe, Manish, who was supposed to sit between the two, wasn’t on his seat for quite sometime. Vivek was obviously hesitant to sit there and even as he sat there after persuasion by the organizers, his discomfort was evident. Thankfully, Manish sensed their discomfort and rushed back to his seat. Vivek still wasn’t comfortable and after a few minutes he left his seat.

Seems, the two haven’t forgotten their past!!
