Katrina Kaif made her Bollywood debut with ‘Boom’. The film bombed at the box-office, but Katrina created stirs with her hot skin show for the flick. Nevertheless, her career soared high slowly and of late, she has refrained from much exposure in her recent films.
But as she is set to exude appeal for ‘Dostana 2’, she will don a bikini for the film. Priyanka Chopra had impressed everyone with her goldne bikini in ‘Dostana’ and now, Manish Malhotra is designing Katrina’s beach wear and selecting the colors that suits her the most.
Dostana 2 will have Katrina in a more sexy look than her cute look which she has been seen with in her recent flicks.

January 29th 2010 Bollywood stars in ‘Phir Mile Sur’
‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ had created stirs 22 years back as it exuded the essence of unity and nationality of India. This year, as India completes 60 years of its Republic, the song has been re-created as ‘Phir Mile Sur’ featuring more than 60 known personalities, including actors Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla. In all, the song features 22 superstars, 18 musicians, 13 artistes and singers and 15 other known personalities. The song has been composed by jazz artists Louis and Geno Banks.
The earlier version of the song featured vocalists Bhimsen Joshi and Balamurali Krishna, sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, tabla maestros Allah Rakha and Zakir Hussain, sportsmen Narendra Hirwani and Prakash Padukone and film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Lata Mangeshkar, Mithun Chakraborty, Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Kamal Haasan, Sharmila Tagore, Tanuja and Waheeda Rehman.
Amitabh Bachchan, who released this album, expresses his gratitude and says, “I was part of the old Mile Sur… and now yet again I am fortunate to be part of this one. January 29th 2010 Preity Zinta gets stuck in the toilet at airport
On her Twitter page, Bollywood actress and IPL team owner Preity Zinta recounts how she got stuck in a toilet at the Delhi airport for about 10 minutes. She was there to catch her flight to Mumbai. The toilet door got jammed and finally, Preity had to jump off the wall to get out.
Recounts Preity, “Spent 10 minutes stuck in the toilet at the airport…Finally had to climb the wall and jump over… People were calling out my name. Thought I was going to die as I am claustrophobic. Pulled a muscle in my arm but did provide entertainment to all.”
“Being a tomboy when I was younger definitely helped. Trying to climb a wall is never easy. Phew! Happy to go home now,” she added.

January 29th 2010 Abhi-Ash at Boman Irani’s 25 wedding anniversary bash
Boman Irani is one actor who has gathered praise and critical acclaim from all and sundry alike for his acting skills. So, when the very talented actor threw a bash to celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary, all his well-wishers made it a point to turn up and brighten up the evening. Among all the guests, the couple who made its presence felt was the Junior Bachchan along with his pretty wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. January 25th 2010 Music launch of ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’
The music of Farhan Akhtar’s much awaited film, ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, was released recently at a suburban multiplex of Mumbai amidst the cast and crew of the film. The trio of Shankar Ehsaan Loy has introduced a new singer in the film, Elisa Mendonsa, who happens to be Loy’s daughter.
Talking about the music of the film, Farhan said, “Shankar Ehsaan Loy could never manage to disappoint anyone with their music. Honestly, Karthik Calling Karthik has some of the best songs heard. I hope everyone will like it as me.”
Explaining the reason for not having sung himself for any song in the film, Farhan said, “There was no need for me to sing in this film since my character didn’t required to. Karthik doesn’t even talk much in the film so if I start singing, it would look out of character. Even in Luck By Chance I didn’t sing. In Rock On, singing was an integral part of the performance. So it depends on the film.”
Talking about the film and its making, Director Vijay Lalwani said, “This is my first film and I desperately wanted to get the film made. So honestly, I never thought whom to cast as Karthik. For me, Karthik was the main character in my story. When we started our company Magic Beans, Amit and I thought why not try Excel out. I narrated the script to Farhan and he was on. Even Deepika said yes to it, which was surprising. So everything fell into place.”

January 25th 2010 Priyanka Chopra bags the best actress national award for ‘Fashion’
The 56th National Film Awards on Saturday, handed over as many as 13 awards to Bollywood. However, the Bengali film ‘Antaheen’ stole the show by winning the best feature film award and three more awards.
Priyanka Chopra bagged in the best actress award and Kangana Ranaut got the best supporting actress honour, both for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’. Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On’ got the best Hindi film award and actor Arjun Rampal won the best supporting actor award for the same film.

January 25th 2010 Anushka Sharma locks lips with Shahid Kapoor for YRF films
Actor-turned-director Parmeet Sethi has put in, not one but three intimate lip-locks between the lead pair, Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma for his forthcoming YRF film and according to sources, the kisses are not the brush-of-the-lips type. They are full-on smooches.”
However, initially Anushka was not comfortable with the idea. Parmeet had to do a lot of cajoling. He explained to her in detail how the scene would be shot and how it was important to the story. Once the camera was rolling, Anushka left her inhibitions behind and delivered a smashing scene.
But things took an ugly turn when someone from the set captured the smooching scene between Shahid and Anushka on their phone. When Anushka found out she was quite furious. She immediately asked for the cell phones of everyone present on the sets to be checked and the clip to be deleted.
The shooting of the film has been completed and the film is in the editing stages. It is for us to wait and watch if the three smooches go unedited in the final print.

IPL Season 3 will be held in India during the months of March, April and May. Though there is a lot of hullaboo over banning Pakistani players from playing IPL, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta, the respective owners of Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab have successfully gone through the auctions in Mumabi.

When Louis Vuitton came to Mumbai to unveil its latest store at top hotel in Mumbai, top Bollywood stars poured in to attend the store launch and they all were spotted wearing obviously some great LV dresses.
Freida Pinto, who was greeted warmly by Yves Carcelle, the brand’s chairman and CEO, was seen pretty in a knee length salmon dress from LV’s special customized archive collection. Kangana Ranaut and Genelia D’souza were seen sporting a fringe. Chelsea Football Club soccer team, which owns Premier Ligue champion, will team up with a number of Bollywood stars in a new movie.
Actors Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan are elected, Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta and Preity Zinta. The film will be directed by Yash Raj and Jhoom Barabara Jhoom will be called. Filming will be done partly in London, where he British football team. Abhishek Bachchan is actually a big fan of Chelsea and, since it will act as a supporter of the club will not need special preparation for the role.
Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Lara Dutta have recently visited Chelsea's stadium, Stamford Bridge to watch parties Charlton and Liverpool. English club officials are delighted with this Indian film, considering it's a great compliment to be associated with names of actors and actresses of the caliber. Also they think the film will be closer to their team Asian community in England.

It is believed that director Karan Johar who is regular with his tweets has made Shahrukh join the Twitter brigade. In his first post King Khan wrote “Hi everyone. Being extremely shy I never thought I would be here. But my friend Karan insisted that I should learn to share my life.”
