May 29th 2009 SRK gives way to Shahid Kapoor as the new ‘Raj’
With SRK adding years, he no longer seems to fit into the romantic Raj image of the Yash Raj camp. So, Yash Raj Films have very wisely decided to move on and have have wasted no time in zeroing on their new Raj - chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor. The Yash Raj camp sees Shahid as the classic romantic hero who has the potential to turn on the sexy or rugged vibe when required.
So, now we have Shahid Kapoor working on two Yash Raj projects in a row- One is Anurag Singh’s ‘Hadippa’ opposite Rani Mukherjee and the other is Parmeet Sethi’s untitled flick where he is paired opposite Anushka Sharma.
SRK gave us some most memorable movies as the Raj of the Yash Raj camp. How far Shahid Kapoor does justice to Raj, only time can tell.

May 28th 2009 Second season of ‘10 Ka Dum’ to start along Salman Khan
On following Sunday, it would be second innings for the quiz show “10 Ka Dum” as this time there is more expectation from Salman Khan, who really made its first season a big hit. The quiz show once again is set for winning prize of Rs. 10 crore. The show suitable for a family viewing had one of the highest TRPs in Indian Television history. On the first episode of second season on coming Saturday it is Kareena and Karisma Kapoor who are participating in it.

May 27th 2009 Shilpa Shetty in ‘Vogue’ - Misses out performance at IPL2 closing ceremony
It was our bad luck not to see Shilpa Shetty performing at IPL season 2 closing night where she was supposed to perform with Katrina Kaif and Akon.
Shilpa says, “I was just not prepared. It was an international platform, not some village nautanki. I had to be fully ready. And I just didn’t get time to rehearse. So I regretfully had to say no. But I’d rather not give anything less than my best when I’m representing my country.”
However Shilpa who is the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals says, “So what if my team wasn’t playing. I think I’m sporting enough to enjoy the game as just a part of the audience.”

May 27th 2009 SRK to play the villain in ‘Dhoom 3′
He has already played the character with negative shades in superhits like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Darr’, and ‘Anjaam’. Talking about SRK, there is no denying the fact that he livens up every character he plays. Now, he is set once again to don on the cap of a baddie in Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom3’. ‘Dhoom’ had John Abraham as the villain and ‘Dhoom 2’ had Hrithik Roshan as the ace robber.
Reports have it that SRK immediately accepted when he was given the offer by the banner. The shooting of Dhoom 3 may start early next year. However, the director of the movie has not been finalized as yet.

May 26th 2009 Aishwarya’s latest still from ‘Endhiran’
The much awaited movie ‘Endhiran’ aka ‘Robot’ starring south superstar Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages. This multi crore project is directed by Shankar and music is by AR Rahman.
This project promises to be the first of its kind in terms of CG (Computer Graphics), Special effects and Stunt Sequences. Top Notch technicians from Hollywood are being roped in for this movie making this project truly global.

May 25th 2009 Kareena Kapoor dazed by the fan frenzy in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad was indeed a memorable trip for Kareena Kapoor who got a taste of the love of her die hard fans who rushed towards the stage while she was performing on a medley of her hit songs at a show in the city.
The performance was at Karnavati Club for the event organised by producer Vashu Bhagnani to promote his son Jackky’s debut “Kal Kissne Dekha” which also stars Kareena.
A shaken Vashu Bhagnani said: “It’s true. Ahmedabad went crazy for Kareena. We expected a huge turn-out at the Karnavati Club, but not this much…30,000 people showed up! And when Kareena came on stage they lost control. About 400 people rushed to the stage. Fortunately we whisked her out of the back entrance. So nothing untoward happened.”
Bhagnani says he is indebted to Kareena. “She took on these frenzied fans for my son’s sake. Who says this film industry is heartless? Kareena is all heart.”
Vashu was so shaken by the Ahmedabad incident that he hesitated asking Kareena to be part of the next promotional show in Delhi May 27, but Kareena is all sport for it. Says Kareena: “Yeah it did get pretty tricky at a point. Yeh sab hota hai. It was my first visit to Ahmedabad. I performed a medley of my best songs choreographed by Remo. It was for Vashu-ji’s son. How can I forget he gave me my first big hit ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’? When his son is entering films it’s my duty to support him.”
Though the fan frenzy scared her, it came as a pleasant surprise when a large number of little girls descended at the performance venue dressed as her character Geet in hit film “Jab We Met”.
“It simply zapped me. I completely forgot the heat of Ahmedabad when I saw those girls. It will be a long time before I’m allowed to forget Geet in ‘Jab We Met’,” Kareena said.

May 23rd 2009 Akshay and Kareena lock lips for ‘Kambakkht Ishq’
The upcoming flick ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ is probably the most awaited movie of the year, partly because it has an array of international stars and partly because it promises tons of glamour with Kareena Kapoor set to appear in a bathsuit. Now, you have yet another reason to await the movie. The beautiful actress will reportedly be seen in a steamy liplock with co-actor Akshay Kumar in the movie.
Sources say that Kareena was not quite comfortable with the idea as Akki has already been her elder sister Karisma’s leading man in many of her movies and at that time Kareena was only a 12-year-old little kid who would shy away from Akki whenever she accompanied Karisma to her shootings.
